Kids Mandarin

Beginners

Heritage

Our Mandarin program is designed to develop students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through structured and engaging instruction. We provide a supportive learning environment that builds confidence while fostering an appreciation for Chinese language and culture.

We offer two learning streams to meet the needs of students with different backgrounds:

1. Beginner Stream
This stream is ideal for students with little or no Mandarin experience. Through songs, stories, games, phonics (Pinyin), and interactive activities, students build strong pronunciation, essential vocabulary, and basic conversational skills. The focus is on creating a positive foundation and developing confidence in using Mandarin naturally.

2. Heritage Stream
This stream is designed for students with prior Mandarin experience or from Mandarin-speaking families who wish to maintain and further strengthen their language proficiency. The curriculum includes Pinyin reinforcement, reading comprehension, structured writing, vocabulary development, and oral communication. Lessons support continued academic growth while deepening cultural understanding.

Our program ensures that each student learns at an appropriate level and continues to grow in both language ability and confidence.
